The gravel road that loops through Lynch's Woods Park has been cleared of downed trees. However, there is a section of road that will need to be repaired.

Currently, efforts are underway to clear the downed trees from the picnic shelter and surrounding area.

 

Approximately 75% of the Lynch’s Woods Passage of the Palmetto Trail has been cleared, thanks to staff and volunteers from the Palmetto Conservation Foundation. Likewise, sections of the bicycle trails have been cleared, thanks to staff and volunteers from Midlands SORBA.

 

Our hope is to open portions of the park to non-vehicular traffic prior to Veterans Day (Nov. 11, 2024).
