Newberry County Recycling Centers
These sites are for residential household waste use only. All building materials must go through scales at the transfer station and are charged $73/ton for disposal. Using any of these centers for the disposal of commercially generated waste is ILLEGAL.
Hours of Operation: Centers are OPEN Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (8 a.m. to 7 p.m. during daylight savings time) and Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (**unless noted otherwise below).

Yard Debris Recycling/Mulching
Newberry County accepts trees and vegetation for disposal at our mulch grinding facility at 270 Public Works Dr. in Newberry. Newberry County offers a finished mulch product free of charge. On Saturday's we will load this product onto your truck.
Hours : M-F 7:30 to 4:00
Saturdays: 8:30 to 1:30
Commercial contractors may use this facility on weekdays only for a charge of $25. /ton for materials dropped at the facility (operators must weigh in at the transfer station scale)
The facility will only accept trees or vegetation.
